In my case, it crashed again while I was working on Excel. (Crashes related to Office's windows handling? I'm using Excel 2007, the one with the custom UI widgets/windows theming)

Anyway, here is the error message:

Since I've deactivated the rule, it doesn't crash anymore (so no new error message, sorry).

Concerning the rule :

General:
Name: Reminder
Apply rule automatically: true
Do not apply rule to invisible windows: true

Conditions:
Window title contains Reminder
and Executable is OUTLOOK.EXE

=> (conjuction = Match all conditions)

Actions:
Copy to all desktops

Comment:
In all the cases, this rule is not really useful and totally not manageable as the reminder window stay open even once you've dismissed all the reminders. And when a new reminder comes, there the task bar is not blinking...

Dexpot crashes on me fairly regularly too.
Usually i'm interacting with Microsoft Office Excel, and then it crashes out of the blue.

I know it sounds kind of weird, but I could swear it crashes after I do some selection, or click some button in Excel, like it has something to do with it.

I will take note of the error message it sends when it crashes. (I just restart dexpot and *sometimes* it crashes again after some minutes, but more often than not, it keeps working)

That does qualify as a (friendly) error message. There's usually a button or link to show the technical details included in the error report.

What are your Dexpot and Windows versions? How exactly does Dexpot crash? Is there an error message?

Hi,

From a couple of week, my Dexpot is crashing multiple times a day.
Sometimes, it crashes when I have no interaction at all with my computer.

When I restart Dexpot after a crash, some softwares have rendering problems:
- Skype's windows aren't closable anymore
- Outlook displays some empty windows (reminders or new mails)

I've created a rule for Outlook reminders. Maybe this is the cause...

What can I do?
