Option #2 took care of both "Email content area blanked out", "shadow menu" and "hiding outlook windows in other desktop" issues. But it forces one to see outlook on all the desktops.

Thanks,
Ashish

Option #1 took care of shadow menus, but did not fix "email content area blanked out" issue.

:dex:

Two options:

  1. Add the following condition to the rule: "Window class is rctrl_renwnd32". This way, only the Outlook main window gets copied.
  2. Delete the rule, set outlook.exe to sticky in wechsel.ini and restart Dexpot.
Either approach should also solve the shadow problem.

Steps to reproduce:

- have a rule to copy outlook.exe to all desktops
- open outlook in desktop 1
- open one email in desktop 1
- close that email in desktop 2
- come back to desktop 1 and you'll see the email window still open but the content area all blank

Happens every once in a while.

Thanks,
Ashish
