Running Dexpot 1.4.2, build 691 with Vista Home Edition Premium in dual-monitor mode; the main display is a LG LCD monitor with 1680x1050 wides-screen resolution, in case it matters.
The secondary display is an analog monitor with 1280x1024 resolution.
Several times now, the main screen has lost some icons and acquired others I had moved away from that screen. The secondary monitor at this time does not have any icons on any screen.
The problem happens ( so far) only after a cold reboot. I had been using some Icon save/restore software, but have removed it for the past few days in order to try and pin down this problem more definitely and it seems to stick with Dexpot.
I am using 4 screens and the icons on screens 2, 3 and 4 stay as they were intended. Some of the icons on the main screen remain, although they do seems to move to different positions, others, predominantly those towards the top and left, disappear and others (which I had moved to other screens) appear on the right, many of them under the gadget bar.
What I noticed today in addition to the 'old problem' was that the screen ID string, which I had set for 10 seconds in the top left corner, now appears on the left at the middle of the screen for the expected length of time.
