Hi. :dex:

In the Dexpot installation folder, look for a file called wechsel.ini and open it in a text editor. Remove the following lines:

Code: Select all

ExploreWClass=move
CabinetWClass=move

Save the file and restart Dexpot.

Dexpot and QTTabBar

Post by TGB_72 » 05.09.2008 05:35:55

Hi,

I found Dexpot very useful but seems to be a problem with a program called QTTabBar. QTTabBar adds tabs to Windows Explorer so folders can be open as tabs in 1 windows (similar to freecommander but integrated with the explorer).
The problem is that once QTTabBar is running, for example when a folder is launched in the 1st desktop, all the folder that I open later from other desktops are open in the 1st desktop instead in the one It's launched.
If I've 3 tabs/folders open in the first desktop and then I jump to a 2nd desktop and launch a 4th tab/folder this 4th tab must be launched and active in the 2nd desktop not in the 1st one.
I don't know if this can be considered a bug since there is a third party app in the middle and Dexpot was thought to handle common windows not tabs but I think that worthwhile to report it here. By the way although Dexpot is very much complete I didn't find this problem using QTTabBar and VirtualWin 4.1.
