I know this is ancient, but the problem is that Dexpot doesn't (apparently) have any keyboard controls to select the desktop above or below.

You may just turn the Desktop Preview on and resize it to get 2x2.

Just like to say, please please please add this feature :)

I'd like to wholeheartedly request the same feature. I've used DeskWin for years now at a 3x2 desktop scheme (a main line of three, and the ability to have a related app above any one of them). About a year ago I switched to a 3x3 grid and have found it exceptionally productive.

I think this would add a great deal to this already very good application.

2x2 row for windows?

Post by Guest » 28.12.2006 23:59:46

For years back to X11 days I've used 4 virtual desktops arranged in a 2x2 block.

I like Dexpot so far but I can't switch over from Virtual Dimension yet as I can't see how to do this. All I can get is a horizontal or vertical line of 4. This matters for switching as I use alt-arrow keys to move around and when mouse switching on the screen edges I want it to go to the proper desktop.

Possible? If not can I request it?

Thanks
